How To Swap Gluten Out of Your Diet

Swapping Gluten-Filled Foods For A Healthier Alternative
Quite simply, gluten is not good for you. This protein that's found in many different foods can and does have an ill effect on your body. Some people notice this effect more than others, but we are all affected in some shape or form.
Gluten can:
· Help you to put on weight (If you consume a lot of wheat)
· Be incredibly addictive
· Inflame your intestines
· Make you feel run-down
· Prevent your body from absorbing minerals and vitamins
· Lead to Depression
· Make you constipated
· Lead to weight loss and malnutrition

While all this may seem a little far-fetched, you should be aware that gluten affects millions of people like this every day.
Make Some Simple Changes
Changes what you eat can be quite simple; in fact it can be a lot easier than you think. There are so many gluten-free foods available these days, which means your diet will not be as limited as you imagine.
When I was first diagnosed with gluten intolerance I thought finding something suitable to eat would be terribly hard. The next time I went to my local supermarket I checked the labels of every product I would usually buy. I was quite surprised at what I could eat and even more surprised at the great range of gluten-free food I could get my hands on.
These days having a somewhat restricted diet is a lot easier than it used to be. Don't worry, you won't be sitting there eating carrot sticks while everyone else feasts on delicious meals, all that you have to do is find a suitable alternative.
Swap your favorite loaf of bread for gluten-free bread, or buy some special flour from a health food store and make your own. Give your bags/packets of pasta away to friends or family who loves it and again buy a gluten-free substitute.
Making some simple changes to your diet will have a huge impact on your health. You will feel so much better, you'll look better and you'll have more energy.
Swap gluten-filled food for gluten-free food and never look back. Once you're feeling one hundred times better, once you're less constipated and free of colds, you'll be thankful you made the change.
Don't be afraid to talk to someone who is going through the same thing as you, they could help you to find some delicious gluten-free food that you may just wish you tried sooner.
