1-Yoga
There are good partner yoga routines that you can practice together. You can engage in the double downward facing dog yoga pose which allows both of you to stretch better and more deeply than you would have been able to do on your own which. 2-Rock climbing
This is another good exercise that couples can engage in as you will be forced to support each other when you engage in rock climbing together. Your partner would have to hold your hand to support you when you are either scaling an indoor rock wall or when you are scaling a rugged outcropping. Your spouse stationed on the ground will serve as your second set of eyes to help to find the next handhold when you are climbing
3-Running
You can go for a run with your spouse. You can choose a running path that has very good scenery as you run outdoors; if you don't want to run outdoors, you can both head up to the gym where both of you can run on two treadmills that are placed side by side. When you are running together, you should run at the same pace so that you can converse comfortably as you run together.
4-Hiking
If you do not want to run together, you can both go hiking. When you go out hiking together on a new path or on a familiar terrain, you will spend a lot of time together as you take time to explore your surroundings.
This type of exercise is also very good for couples who have different energy levels.
5-Double tennis
If you and your spouse have a competitive streak, you can invite two of your friends to play against them in a double tennis match. When you play together against the other couple, you have to play together as united team so, whether you win or lose the game both of you are in it together.
6-Biking
You can go for a bike ride with your spouse and you can both make use of this good cardiovascular exercise to get your hearts to work hard without really pounding your body.
